And so it begins...

I have been unable to access this blog since I've come to China -- at least until now. They have a system for blocking certain websites, including blogger.com, but fortunately the Chinese people have a system for skipping over the blocker -- which they were kind enough to share with me.

Now that I can open it, I am going to go back through and post my adventures thus far. Fortunately I have been writing down most of them so they are mostly ready to be posted.



Since most of my readers will not know who the other interns that came are, and since they will most likely be mentioned at least periodically throughout my narratives, I might ought to do a short introduction.

Thanks to KayLa for the wonderful picture -- not that I asked her before I put it up (I will, relax copyright-spastic people... *wonders if there are any of those reading my blog*)

Anyway, that's me on the far left -- I'm not going to introduce myself because A, you're reading my blog and odds are you already know me. B, if you happen to not know me, if you last all the way through reading this blog, you'll probably get to know me fairly well.

Next to me is Jake Rieken, then KayLa Connolly my roommate, and then Beau Bowles.
